Boost visibility of your products and drive sales faster with an ad campaign on LeafLink! This guide will show you how to launch your next ad campaign.
You can create an ad campaign on LeafLink from two places:
1) On the Advertising Tab
2) On an Inventory Item
How to create an ad campaign from the Advertising tab.
1. Go to the Dashboard.
2. Tap on the Advertising tab (in the main navigation menu).
3. Press the New Campaign button.
How to create an ad campaign from an Inventory item.
1. Go to your Inventory.
2. Look at Active Products (in the horizontal menu).
3. Find a product you want to sell faster.
4. Tap the three dots in the Actions column.
5. Press Create Ad Campaign in the pull-down menu.
Whichever path you choose, the wizard will guide you through campaign set up.
1. Select the brand you want to promote from the pull-down menu.
2. Set your weekly budget by tapping on the tile.
Enter a custom weekly budget into that field, if that best suits your campaign goals.
3. Set your campaign start and end dates.
Schedule your campaign as far in advance as you like.
You can also leave it on indefinitely, by checking the "no end date" box.
4. Enter your total budget for this campaign into the "Max Campaign Budget" field.
5. Enter your max Cost Per Click (CPC).
A cost per click is what you would be billed when a retailer clicks on your ad.
Optional step: If you need budget approval, we can email a request to your finance team.
Enter their email, and we'll send them a request.
On the next screen, you’ll see a list of products.
This is the active inventory in your LeafLink account.
Only inventory in the brand you selected will appear.
1. Tap the box next to the product you want to include in the ad campaign.
The blue checkmark indicates it is selected.
2. Select as many products as you like.
Pro Tip: Group products by strains or categories.
This will make it easier to calculate ad campaign performance later.
You can have multiple campaigns running a the same time, no sweat.
3. Note the available quantity, and confirm that this is accurate.
LeafLink will auto update your inventory counts for you when the product sells, if you've selected "managed" or "inherited" inventory on that inventory item.
On the next screen, review your campaign details.
1. If you need to correct any mistakes, press the blue edit icon.
2. When you’re ready, press the Create Campaign button.
3. That's it!
After you've created your campaign, we'll take you back to the Advertising tab.
Here, you'll see all your campaigns.
What’s next?
1. Our Ad Ops team will review the campaign assets, and activate your Advertising Insights report if you don't already have it in your account.
2. We’ll bill the payment method we have on file for your account. (Find that in Settings/Billing)
3. Our Ad Ops team will email you to confirm the ad campaign has launched within 2 business days.
4. We'll check in with you in 30 days to gather feedback from you, and offer you growth strategies if you like.
