When your license changes, or you get a new one, it’s crucial to update your account as soon as possible to ensure your orders are processed in compliance. You must have a current license to transact on LeafLink. This user guide will show you how to update your buyer license and your seller license.
Note: Only users with admin permissions can add and update licenses.
How to update a buyer's license
1. Go to Settings.
2. Tap on Manage Licenses. (in the horizontal menu)
Your active licenses are here, along with pending, or archived licenses.
3. Tap the edit pencil icon to add a license.
This will open the Create New License modal.
4. Enter your license number. Enter it exactly as it appears on your state-issued license.
5. Select the license type from the pull down menu.
6. Enter the expiration date and the issue date.
7. Upload a copy of the license.
A scanned image or a high-resolution photograph of the license is acceptable.
8. Press the save button.
This will send the information to the LeafLink Compliance Team for review and approval. The new license will be in pending status until it is approved. This may take up to 5 business days, although we aim to do this ASAP.
If there are any issues with what you've submitted we may deny your request and send you a note to let you know why. As always, feel free to send any and all questions to support@leaflink.com.
You will receive a notification to your email and the alert banner at the top of your account will be removed once it has been approved.
How to update a seller's license on LeafLink
1. Go to Settings.
2. Tap on Manage Licenses (in the horizontal menu).
Your active, pending, and archived licenses will appear here.
3. Tap the edit pencil icon to add a license.
This will open the Create New License modal.
4. Enter your license number exactly as it appears on your state-issued license.
5. Select the license type from the pull down menu.
6. Set the expiration date and the issue date by tapping on the calendar icon.
7. If you have products associated with a license that is being replaced, select the old license to transfer those products to the new license.
Note: If your account is connected to METRC, you will also need to update your integration to connect to the new license.
8. Upload a copy of the license.
